Photo Phriday: You’re Serving WHAT?

There’s a “cute” little cafeteria here at Dark Water Fowl and, while I usually brown-bag it, I often check the weekly menu to see if anything tempts me to stray from my turkey on wheat.  Needless to say, this week didn’t do it for me…

Tater Tots

Your tots are totally inappropriate!

While I enjoy avocados, I’m not sure how I feel about “avacado” on Mondays, and I’m not sure whose pie they were serving on Tuesday, but today’s vegetable is most impressive: “tata tots.”

Tata tots???   Now that’s an inappropriate side dish!

Oy vey.

  1. That’s so true. It’s bad enough that they are trying to go beyond simple deli things into tricky seafood dishes, but really? Tata tots? So many inappropriate responses to that.

    • Exactly!!! How am I supposed to restrain myself when they’re just handing me opportunities like this?? Come on! Tata tots? Apparently Tuesday’s “Luck of the Irish” wasn’t with them when they made the menu…

  2. “I’ll have the avacado salad, with a side of tatas,” doesn’t sound like a normal lunch order…unless you’re having lunch at the fine dining establishment, Hooters :/

    • LOL – bingo bango, Megan! I had no idea we worked in such a klassy establishment…

      • PS I only come to work for the chicken wings…

      • You stay klassy, San Diego

  3. Given who probably devised that menu plan, I’m surprised it was only tatas offered up. There are a lot of things offered at that cafe, some not on the menu;-)

    • And some should NEVER be on a menu… shudder. PS Do you want to be my roommate?

  4. Thay hav no raison (see Monday) to becom Inglish teachirs. Thayr just a bunch a shepperds who make py.

    • RWFOTB, you never cease to impress- was hoping one of our readers would catch the other snafu in the menu! Bravo! (And now it is sufficiently clear why I am the way I am ;))

  5. I’m sorta cravin’ that “horseradish mashed corn on the cob”. Yum!!!
    Tata my tots.
